Colleen Honestly: Learning

For the parts of work nobody handed you a manual for.

The calculation you’re expected to explain. The conversation that needs a useful record. The skill you would rather practise here than improvise in a meeting.

I’m building practical, self-paced courses that turn familiar workplace questions into something you can work through, understand and use. Plain language. Realistic examples. Room to pause, try again and keep the tools that help.

More in-depth, paid courses are in development. Future course launches will be announced in our weekly newsletter. Paid enrollment is not open yet; dates and prices will be shared when they are ready.

A look at what’s taking shape

Useful skills. A little less guesswork.

HR Math: For People Who Prefer People

Make sense of headcount, turnover, hiring costs, pay and other everyday HR numbers. Work out the calculation, understand its limits and practise explaining the result.

A calculator is welcome. A lifelong love of spreadsheets is optional.

Documentation & Case Notes

Write records that help the next person understand what happened, what was checked, what remains uncertain and who is doing what next.

Because “make sure you document that” could use a few more instructions.

A thoughtful test run

Want to help make these better?

I’m interested in hearing from people who would like to pilot a course and tell me honestly what helped, what confused them and where something got in the way.

You do not need to be a math enthusiast or a documentation expert. A fresh pair of eyes is useful here.

Email pilot@colleenhonestly.com with the course you’re interested in and a sentence about what brings you to it. Please leave out passwords and confidential workplace details.

I’m interested in piloting

Emailing expresses interest; it does not automatically enroll you or add you to the newsletter. Pilot places and timing will be confirmed separately.

Hear when it’s ready

I’ll save the announcement for your inbox.
